I’ve heard it plenty of times, “Good luck, because I’m not photogenic!”
Ha. Just wait.
Some girls just need a little reassurance that they really are beautiful in order to completely relax in front of the camera. Cindy was one of those girls. But it didn’t take her long at all to feel like the stunning and elegant bride that she is.
After Cindy and her ladies got all primped at Body Art, and grabbed some lunch, we met up at the Westin at Canal Place.
Vibrant colors photograph beautifully – so their navy/yellow/gray color scheme was awesome!
I love it when couples decide to go with unlimited coverage for their wedding day. While it does make for a long day for me, it gives plenty of time to get to know the girls, and catch glimpses into their friendships.
Since Kaylynn was going to be taking care of the guys pictures for me, I had plenty of time with the girls to play with the awesome lighting in the hotel!
The ceremony and reception were held at Destrehan Plantation, at the Mule Barn. As the guests were arriving, the evening light was lovely coming through the moss covered oaks.
I kinda get jealous of my second shooters and how free they are to catch the behind the scenes moments. I love Kaylynn’s perspective here:
Ross was one excited groom… which I love to see!
She’s so ready to be his wife!
I love this image Kaylynn got!
The light was fading fast, but we were able to grab a few couple shots as dusk was falling.
Cindy & Ross had an awesome Polaroid guest book! The guests took their pictures, and attached it to the page along with their message.
This little guy was into showing off his mad dancing skills, so these two were doing a dance off most of the evening!
Thanks, Cindy and Ross for trusting me with such an important part of your wedding day!
